Fattoria di Sammontana Alberese 2022

This sangiovese/trebbiano blend is juicy as you like, but also has a sophisticated streak. There’s lovely red fruit, a moreish savoury note and a mineral edge (‘Alberese’ refers to the limestone soil in the vineyards). Think unoaked, young Chianti. Good with or without food, chilled or at room temperature.
