Thymiopoulos Rosé de Xinomavro 2022

Oh let me count the ways. One of those 'IYKYK' wines – a luscious, luminous, deeply fruity rosé made from the xinomavro grape variety. Quite long maceration (for a rosé), long fermentation and ageing in large used oak barrels create complexity – we're talking layers of ripe apricot, tomato leaf, red berries, roses, orange rind and subtle spices. Texture, depth, succulence, length – it has it all. Mezze might well be in order, but this a little drop of heaven all on its own.
